Until
1908, a large building stood in the |
![]() n 1860, a traveller writes about residing at the inn at Durin where the landlady was a Mrs. Ross. A warm welcome, a cheerful fire and a substantial tea; the sheets were made from the cotton cargo of a ship wrecked during the preceding winter on Faraid Head . Fresh baked oatcakes were served for breakfast and a trout and salmon were caught especially for the evening meal. |
