Christmas cards

£196 was raised for youth club funds form the delivery of Christmas cards around the village. Pick up points were at the local shops and 2 deliveries were made before Christmas for 10 pence a card. The youth club extend a thank you to all those that supported the venture.


School Closed

Due to faults with e the boiler the heating system at the primary school was out of commission for the children returning last Monday. After a short attendance the children were sent home. Engineer’s repaired the fault on Tuesday and the children returned after an extended festive break on Wednesday.
Damage has been caused to the play house in the school playground during the holidays and the police have been informed. The door and window of the “Wendy House” has been smashed and kicked.
