Picture - proprietor and curator Kevin Crowe of the Loch Croispol Gallery showing an exhibition of work by Maggie Macleod.

The Loch Croispol bookshop restaurant and gallery are currently exhibiting work by Maggie Macleod in a variety of media including drawing, watercolour and embroidery. Maggie’s exhibition opened on Easter Monday and one exhibit was sold within ten minutes. Maggie Macleod was born in 1945 in England, moved to Canada, graduated form the University of Victoria with a fine art degree and moved to Sutherland in 1974 but now lives in Caithness. Her work is inspired by the environment of Caithness and Sutherland and her garden. The exhibition runs until the end of April in Balnakeil Craft Village.
