Youth
club
At the recent Youth club meeting the main discussion was around the arrangements
for the first part of the 2007 -2008 session until Christmas. With no funding
for a youth worker the activities will have to be slightly curtailed but the
regular Friday evenings will continue. Margery Morrison will continue as leader
on a paid basis from local funds for the few hours per week to organise youth
club and will work with volunteers on a rota. An application has been submitted
for youth worker funding and efforts continue to secure finance to allow the
achievements of the past 3 years to be maintained and further developments made.
The outcome of the current application will not be known until Christmas. A
person is required for the Yogis until Christmas and this will be paid for seven
and a half hours until Christmas. One hour a week on a Friday afternoon with
organisational time anyone interested should contact Ronnie lansley 01971511346
