Graduation
Tristram Lansley 23 years old, eldest son of Gwen and Ronnie Lansley Sangomore
Headland Durness, graduated from Napier University in Edinburgh with a Batchelor
of Engineering Electronic and Electrical (Hons,)
Tristram was a pupil at Durness primary school and Kinlochbervie High before
moving to study in Edinburgh. He has just stated work with Biwater's Consultancy
Services who specialise in Water Asset Management across the globe. Tristram is
based in Hamilton outside Glasgow.
Durness Development Group AGM
The annual general meeting of Durness development Group limited is on
Tuesday 11th December 2007 at 7.30 pm in the Community House. Membership is open
to any individual over the age of 18 who is resident or working within the
Parish. Any member who wishes to be considered for election as a director at an
annual general meeting must lodge with the company a written notice, confirming
that he/she is willing to be appointed; the notice must be signed by him/her and
must be lodged with the company at any time before the commencement of the
annual general meeting. Anyone is invited Wine and cheese will follow the
formalities

Advertisers on the Durness web site www.durness.org should check their advert
for any changes they require. The annual payment is now due and details of any
changes should be addressed to Ronnie Lansley.
Poppy Collection
A total of £260 was raised in Durness for this years Earl Haig poppy appeal.
Local organiser Gordon Clarke expresses thank you to all those that gave
generously and to those that helped, Danny mackay, Mairi Clarke, Lewis
Montgomery and Francis Morrison Collection boxes were in the Spar Shop, Mathers
Shop, Sango sand oasis, Balnakeil Bookshop and Lodge Laxford.
