Christmas Cards

The youth club delivery of Christmas cards has been very successful. The senior youths have raised £200 towards their activities. A thank you is expressed to all those that used the local delivery service.

Electricity dips

The power dips that occur to supplies in the village are continuing and the Electricity suppliers are unable to identify the problem and have carried out all the tests and nothing is showing faults. The community council are urging individuals who are affected to contact the Supply and restoration manager 01463728070 and report their concerns. A petition will be placed in the local shops to gather information of whom and what areas of the village are affected.

 Cape Wrath Challenge

The Cape Wrath Challenge group are inviting catering tenders from interested local parties to provide the cuisine for the final night celidh on the 19 May. Entries are well in advance of the usual numbers for this time. A letter is being distributed for local advertising and social sponsorship and anyone interested should contact a member of the Challenge committee or call 511346
