Golfing Achievement

Picture Attached Donald Morrison and Donna Mackinnon recently took part in the British Heart Foundation junior golf championships at Nairn Dunbar representing Kinlochbervie High school.

 



Young Durness golfers Donna Mackinnon and Donald Morrison recently took part in the British Heart Foundation junior golf championships at Nairn Dunbar representing Kinlochbervie High school. The Competition is supported by the Royal and Ancient and the golfer Colin Montgomery. All teams playing in the competition raise money through sponsors and all money raised goes to the British Heart Foundation. Donna and Donald would like to thank everyone who sponsored them raising the sum of £367.

Bombing dates

Cape Wrath range including Garvie island will be active with various combinations of air bombardment, naval gunfire support and helicopter operations during the following dates: 01 to 03 may 2007 21 to 25 may 2007, 08:00 to 23:59, daily 28 to 31 may 2007, 08:00 to 17:00, daily when the range is active, red flags/lights will be flown/displayed and sentries positioned on the u70 road. All efforts will be made to keep the u70 road open. However due to the nature of some practices and in the interest of public safety, closure may be necessary.
