At the end of term prize giving Martin Mackay was awarded the Montgomery Rosebowl as the highest achiever in primary seven. Martin was also champion in the annual badminton tournament held in memory of Bobby Morison and was awarded the shield in recognition. This year 3 children from Durness move on to Kinlochbervie secondary. Along with Martin is Donald Morrison who won the Sandwood quake for art  and Garry Morrison.
