A charity ceilidh dance is to be held in Durness hall on Saturday 29 April with all the proceeds being donated to the Anthony Nolan Trust. This trust recruits donors to a bone marrow register The band for the event is the Wallace Connection form Central Scotland, the group Katie Macdougal used to play in before coming to Durness as the district Nurse. Admission will be £5 and a family ticket will be £10 and can be purchased at the door There will be a licensed bar, raffle and a light snack at the interval.
