ANGLING GROUP Fishing Available A. Loch Inshore – Accessed by the ferry and minibus service on Cape Wrath peninsula. Arrangements are advised for the trip. This loch is owned by the MOD. A good loch with a reputation for good fish. B. The Carbreck Lochs – Three small lochs beyond the mouth of the River Dionard entering the Kyle of Durness on the right hand side as you leave on the A838 to Rhiconich. Easily accessible on land belonging to Balnakeil estate. C. Loch na Seilg – From just beyond the telephone kiosk at the Big Bridge, as you leave Durness on the A838 to Rhiconich, follow the route of the burn for just over a mile to the loch. A rewarding exercise for a peaceful and relaxing setting. The lochs have not been fished for some time and require to be fished. We ask that all the fish caught be removed from the loch as a start to allowing some growth of the stock to occur. PERMITS AVAILABLE LOCALLY |
